Percy Jackson he is a demigod and is escorted to Camp Half-Blood, a secret camp built to train and protect demigods. As the son of Poseidon, god of the sea, Percy is a child mentioned in The Great Prophecy, a prophecy that is given by the Oracle every fifty years. The prophecy states that a half-blood child of one of the Big Three gods is destined to make a choice that will either save or destroy Olympus. Percy is usually portrayed as being good-natured, friendly, brave, and often willing to risk his life to save his friends, strangers, and even his non-monstrous foes. He is angered by Thalia Grace often, as their similar personalities and leadership styles tend to clash. However, they are still very good friends. Percy has a sarcastic sense of humor and is wry in his narration. Percy seems to dislike titles being given to him, as he always tells horses, which his father is said to have created, not to call him "boss" or "lord" whenever they talk to him, though he will allow Annabeth (and only Annabeth) to dub him "Seaweed Brain". He also has a strong sense of loyalty and fairness, as he turned down godhood when it was offered to him in order to remain with his friends Annabeth and Grover, asking instead that all of the gods, especially the minor ones, recognize and claim all of their children by the time they turn thirteen years old. Although apparently considered good-looking, Percy has trouble talking to girls, much like any mortal his age would. Percy's fatal flaw is personal loyalty. He will risk his life for anyone; his friends, family, strangers, and even his enemies. Kronos uses this many times in the series.

Annabeth Chase She is a demigod; her father is the mortal Frederick Chase while her mother is Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, crafts and battle strategy. She first appears in the first novel of the series, The Lightning Thief, and becomes close friends with Percy Jackson, later becoming his primary love interest and girlfriend.

Logan Lerman born January 19, 1992. born in Beverly Hills, California. His mother, Lisa (née Goldman), works as his manager, and his father, Larry Lerman, is a businessman. He has two siblings, Lindsey and Lucas, and attended Beverly Hills High School. Lerman is Jewish and grew up in a "stable family background". His family runs the orthotics and prosthetics company Lerman & Son, which was founded by his great-grandfather, Jacob Lerman, in 1915;most of his relatives work in the medical profession. Lerman is a self-described "film geek", having stated that he is "shaped by movies".He has expressed an interest in writing, producing and directing; in 2010, he applied to study creative writing at New York University, but has postponed his attendance. Lerman's favorite directors include Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, David Fincher and Peter Bogdanovich, and he has cited American Beauty, Defending Your Life, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as being among his favorite films.

Alexandra Daddario born March 16, 1986.born in New York City, New York and was raised on the Upper East Side;[2] her parents are lawyers.[3] She wanted to be an actress when she was a child but her first television role did not come about until she was 16 years old, when she booked the role of victimized teen Laurie Lewis on All My Children. At the same time, she was a sophomore attending a traditional girls school in New York. "I was finishing my sophomore year of high school at the Brearley School in New York," Daddario said. "I would not have been able to continue my education there." Daddario co-starred with Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the fantasy-adventure movie directed by Chris Columbus, which was released on February 12, 2010. Columbus and Craig Titley adapted the screenplay from The Lightning Thief, the first book of Rick Riordan's best-selling teens' series, Percy Jackson & the Olympians. Daddario plays Annabeth Chase. She is set to appear in the upcoming film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo as young Harriet Vanger.
